Ingredients
- 2 strips turkey bacon or canadian bacon
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 rib celery, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 16 oz can chopped tomatoes
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 t black pepper
- 1 t worcestershire
- 1 t hot pepper sauce
- 1 lb med shrimp peeled and deveined.
Directions

Cook bacon til crisp.

Drain on paper towels.

Crubmle when cool.

Discard all but 1 T drippings from skillet.

In hot drippings over med. heat, cook onion, bell peppers, celery 5 min til tender.

Stir in garlic, cook 1 min.

Add tomoatoes with juice, bay leaf, black pepper, worcestershire, and hot pepper sauce and heat to boiling, then reduce to low and simmer 20 min.

Add shrimp, bacon and cook 10 min til shrimp is opaque.

Discard bay leaf.
