Chili

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 pounds ground beef (or substitute tempeh + olive oil for vegetarian), seasoned with salt and ground pepper.
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 2 or 3 - 15oz cans kidney beans, with liquid
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder

Directions

  1. Brown meat/tempeh.

  2. Add all other ingredients. Simmer 1+ hours. Serve with rice or grated cheese and chopped onions.
