Brown Butter Toffee Blondies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c unsalted butter
  • 2 1/4 flour
  • 1 1/2tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 c packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c toffee bits

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and butter a 9×13″ pan, line with papaer and grease and flour paper.

  2. Cook butter in a pan over medium heat until it turns golden brown. Remove from heat and let cool. Whisk together flour, BP and salt.

  3. Combine browned butter and sugars, stir until combined, then using an electric beater beat until light and creamy. Add vanilla, flour mixture, and toffee bits. When thoughly combined pour into pan.

  4. Bake 35-40 minutes (do not over bake). Cool in pan before turning out and cutting into 3" squares.
