Swiss steak and Gravy

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 6 Cubed steaks (beef - 8 oz ea)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 small onion (1/4 cup chopped)
  • 1 jar sliced mushrooms, undrained (6 oz)
  • 2 cans condensed golden mushroom soup (10-3/4 oz. ea.)

Directions

  1. Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper

  2. Place beef in 4 qt. Crock-Pot

  3. Sprinkle onion and mushrooms with liquid between layers of beef

  4. pour soup over beef

  5. cover and cook on low heat setting 7-8 hours or until beef is tender
