Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter
- 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1 2/3 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups (3) sieved bananas
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cups chopped nuts
Directions

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix the butter with the dry ingredients.
- Add the bananas and half of the butter milk and mix until all of the flour is wet.

Beat for 2 minutes.
- Add the rest of the milk and the eggs.

Fold in nuts.

Bake in 2 9" pans or in muffin tins for about 30-35 minutes.
