Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup seasoned fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 cup finely chopped fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup bottled barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound sweet Italian sausage (remove casings, if present)
- 1 pound ground raw turkey
- Bottled barbecue sauce

In a very large mixing bowl stir together eggs, bread crumbs, mushrooms, onion, the 1/4 cup barbecue sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and hot pepper sauce.

Add beef, Italian sausage, and turkey and mix well. In a 3-quart rectangular baking dish, pat mixture into a loaf (about 11×5 inches).

Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours or until internal temperature registers 160 degree F. Spoon additional barbecue sauce over loaf the last 20 minutes of baking.

Let the meat loaf stand for 10 minutes. Using two spatulas, transfer loaf to a serving platter. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
