Napa Salad

(from receita’s recipe box)

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs napa cabbage (sliced thinly)
  • 6 green onions (entirely finely sliced)
  • 2 carrots (grated and julienned)
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 2 pack Ramen noodles(discard seasoning)
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • one ounce sesame seeds
  • Dressing
  • 1/2 cup tarragon vinegar( or white wine vinegar with small amt of balsamic vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup olive oil

Directions

  1. Melt butter in saute pan

  2. Break noodles into small pieces

  3. add with almonds and sesame seeds

  4. Brown lightly

  5. Cool

  6. Prepare cabbage, carrots and green onions

  7. Blend vinegar, olive oil, soy, sugar and shake vigorously

  8. Combine veggies with noodle mixture

  9. and Add dressing 15-20 minutes before serving.
