Ingredients
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 1 egg, separated
- 1/2 t vanilla
- 1 c flour
- 1/2t salt
- chopped nuts
- raspberry jam
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar, add the egg yolk and vanilla. Sift together the flour and salt, add to creamed mixture. Roll into 1-inch balls and dip into slightly beaten egg white. Roll in chopped nuts. Place on cookie sheet and bake 5 minutes. Remove and press thumb into center of each cookie; fill with jam. Return to oven for 8 minutes. 375F
