Ingredients
- Mix together:
- 1 cup butter
- 3 cups warm water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 pkg. yeast
- Then Add:
- 4 eggs
- 8 cups flour (1/2 of the flour and salt; then remaining 1/2 of flour.
- 1 tsp. salt
- Dough will be thicker than pancake batter but thinner than bread batter.
- Do not let rise at this point.
- Break into hunks and roll into rectangles. This will take 4-6 times to use all the dough. The rectangles will be about 1/2” thick.

Filling:

1 stick of butter

Add white sugar and cinnamon.

Fill rectangles with the filling, set in greased pan, cover and let rise for 3-4 hours (the logs will be close to doubled.) Slice into 1-1-1/2 inch slices.

Bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes.

Glaze:

½ stick butter
-
1 lb. powdered sugar

1 tsp. vanilla
-
¼ cup cinnamon

Coffee
-
While warm glaze rolls. Let them cool completely and then you can freeze.
