German Christmas Bread

Ingredients
- 1 Loaf of frozen bread
- 1/2 Cup of chopped pecans
- 1/2 Halved glace cherries
- 1/2 Cup of raisins
- 1 1/2 tsp. of Rum
- 1 tbs Melted butter
Directions

Thaw bread at room temperature until phable

Mix together pecans,cherries,raisins and rum

Rolll dough lightly on a floured board to 1" thickness

Spoon mixture on dough

Knead and fold
-
Roll into 1/2" thick oval

Lightly crease dough

Fold smaller section over larger
-
Place on greased baking sheet

Roll folded dough to maintin shape

Brush melted butter
-
Allow to rise in warm place until size is doubled

Bake at 315 degrees

Cool onrack
-
Sprinkle with powered sugar when cooled
