Keller’s Ice Cream

This is a good ice cream that is simple. It does not freeze uber hard, though.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, frothy
  • 2 qts. half-and-half
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 3 T imitation vanilla (or 1 1/2 t. powdered vanilla)
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 pt. cream

Directions

  1. Mix the eggs until frothy, then dump the rest in.

  2. Put it in the ice cream freezer and let ’er rip.

  3. The recipe is soft so the freezer probably won’t stop on its own. Dry ice helps.
