Ingredients
- 2 C all-purpose flour
- 2-1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- dash ground allspice
- 1 egg
- 3/4 C packed brown sugar
- 3/4 C canned pumpkin
- 2/3 C milk
- 3 T butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 C miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Directions

In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Combine the egg, brown sugar, pumpkin, milk, butter and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Stir in chocolate chips. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups 3/4’s full. Bake at 375 degrees for 18-22 minutes or until toothpick inserted near middle comes out clean. Cool for 5 minute before removing from pan to wire rack.
