Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 c fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 c onion, finely chopped
- 5 1/2 c tomatoes, seeded & chopped (about 3 lbs)
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions

Heat oil in large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add onion & garlic, saute 3 minutes or until tender

Add tomatoes & remaining ingredients & bring to boil

Reduce heat to medium-low & cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes until reduced to 4 c, stirring occasionally

Serve over pasta
