Ingredients
- 2 TBSP Cornstarch
- 2 tsp sugar
- 6 TBSP soy sauce
- 1/4 cup apple juice or water
- 1 lb round steak, cut into strips
- 3 cups broccoli
- 2 med carrots, thinly sliced
- 6 oz. pea pods
- 2 TBSP onions, chopped
- 8 oz sliced water chestnuts, undrained
Directions

Combine cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce and apple juice until smooth. Add beef and toss to coat; set aside. Stir fry broccoli, carrots, pea pods and onion in 1 TBSP oil for 1 min. Add water chestnuts. Cover and simmer 4 min. Remove and keep warm. Stir fry beef in remaining oil until tender. Return veggies to pan, toss. Serve over rice.
