Kesari Baath

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream of Wheat
  • 4 oz Sugar
  • 4 Tbsp Ghee
  • 2 Pods Cardamom, seeds removed and pounded
  • 2 Tbsp Cashews
  • 2 Tbsp Raisins
  • 8 oz Milk
  • 8-10 strings Saffron

Directions

  1. Heat 3 tbsp ghee in pan. Add cream of wheat and fry until fragrant. Remove from heat.

  2. Boil milk. Add cream of wheat and cook for appr 5 minutes. Add sugar and cook for another few minutes. Add warm water if needed. Remove from heat.

  3. Fry cashews in remaining 1 tbsp of ghee. Add raisins. Turn off heat and add ground cardamom & saffron.
