Cashew Chicken Casserole

Ingredients
- 2 c uncooked elbow macaroni
- 3 c cubed/cooked chicken
- 1/2 c cubed process American cheese
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 c chopped celery
- 1/2 c chopped green pepper (optional)
- 8 oz. can water chestnuts
- 10 3/4 oz. cream of mushroom soup
- 10 3/4 oz. cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/3 c milk
- 14 1/2 oz. can chicken broth
- 1/4c melted butter
- 2/3 c crushed saltines (20 crackers)
- 3/4 c cashew halves
Directions

Layer 1st 7 ingredients in 13×9 baking dish.

Combine the soups, milk and broth in a bowl

Pour on casserole & refrigerate over night.

Mix butter & cracker crumbs. Sprinkle on top.

Top w/ cashews.

Bake, uncovered at 350 for 40 min.

*Put together the night before baking it!!!
