Mississippi Mud Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cubes margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup coconut flakes
  • 1 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1 jar marshmallow cream
  • ****
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 cube margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350*

  2. Cream together margarine, sugar, and cocoa powder

  3. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well

  4. Add flour, coconut flakes, and nuts; beat one minute

  5. Bake in 9″ × 13″ pan for 30 to 40 minutes

  6. Punch holes through cake and spread jar of marshmallow cream on top of HOT cake

  7. Let cake cool


  8. Blend powdered sugar, margarine, vanilla and cocoa well; spread on cake

  9. May need to add a little canned milk??
