Crabcakes

Ingredients

  • 16oz lump crab, picked free of shells
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, homemade
  • 1/2 medium red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard, dijon
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 dashes tabasco
  • Flour, for dusting
  • 1/2 cup peanut oil for frying
