Peanut Butter Mistletoe Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 1/3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 72 chocolate candy drops (kisses), unwrapped
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In medium bowl, combine oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat peanut butter and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add both sugars, eggs and vanilla. Beat until well combined.
- Stir in flour mixture. Drop dough by level tablespoonful on baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake 13 minutes or until golden. Remove from oven and immediately press a chocolate drop firmly in center of each cookie. Let stand 5 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
