Steamed Suet Pudding

Ingredients
- 3 cups raisins
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1/2 tsp. grated nutmeg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup ground suet
- 1 cup sour milk
- 1 cup molasses
Directions
- Mix raisins with 1/2 cup of the flour. Sift remaining flour with dry ingredients. Combine suet, milk and molasses and add to dry ingredients. Add raisins and mix thoroughly. Fill greased pudding mold 2/3 full, cover tightly and steam 3 hours.
- Serve with Hard Sauce or any desired pudding sauce.
