Ingredients
- 1 small apple
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/3 cup natural or Greek yoghurt
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons caramel sauce, separated
Directions
- Peel, core and chop the apple into small chunks. Place into a microwave-safe container and toss with the ground cinnamon, until all the apple chunks are coated.
- Cook the apple chunks in the microwave for 2 minutes, until soft.
- In a medium-size bowl, stir together the oats, sugar, yoghurt and milk.
- Add 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce into the bottom of a serving jar, top with 1/3 of the apple chunks and pour over 1/2 of the oatmeal mixture.
- Repeat previous step.
- Top with the final 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce and apple chunks.
- Place in the fridge and leave for at least 4 hours for the oats to soften.
