Apple Bourbon Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 quart cider or apple juice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 pkg. (5 oz. or 8 envelopes) Instant whiskey-sour mix
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 1 red-skinned apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • Ice cubes
  • Ground cinnamon (optional)

Directions

  1. In punch bowl, combine first 2 ingredients and chill until serving time.
  2. In blender, combine next 2 ingredients and 2 cups water. Whirl until frothy, then add to punch bowl with apple slices and ice cubes. Stir to mix.
  3. If desired, sprinkle each serving with cinnamon.
  4. makes 2 quarts
