Apricot-Pecan Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp. ground cardamom
  • 8 small (or 6 large) dried apricots, finely chopped
  • 1 portion Vanilla Dough
  • 1/4 cup pecans, finely chopped

Directions

  1. Mix cardamom and apricots into dough. Roll dough into an 8-inch log and slice into 16 pieces.

  2. Roll each piece into a ball and coat with chopped pecans.

  3. Put balls on ungreased cookie sheets 1 inch apart. Bake 12 to 14 minutes, until bottoms are browned. Remove to wire rack to cool.
