Artichoke and Bacon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. (9 oz. each) frozen artichoke hearts
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts (pangoli)
  • 1 lb. bacon, each strips cut in half crosswise

Directions

  1. Cook artichoke hearts, following package directions; drain and chill.

  2. Open artichoke heart leaves and insert 3 or 4 pine nuts. Wrap artichoke heart in a half strip of bacon; fasten with wooden pick; chill. When ready to serve, broil artichokes until bacon is crisp. Turn and broil other side.
