Ingredients
- 1 lb. cubed lamb
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 cups water
- 1 large bay leaf
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1 can buttermilk biscuits
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 small whole onion
- 1 lb. 4 oz. can sliced pie apples
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

Coat lamb with flour. Brown in shortening in large skillet. Stir in water, bay leaf, salt, parsley, flakes, thyme, curry powder, pepper and onion. cover and simmer 1 hour until meat is tender, stirring occasionally.

Remove onion and bay leaf, stir in apples and sugar. Bring to a boil.

Turn into 8- 9-inch square baking dish. Open biscuits; separate dough into individual biscuits. Place around edge of baking dish.

Bake at 225 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes.
