Bacon Roll-Ups

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups of herb-seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 1/4 lb. pork sausage
  • 2/3 lb. sliced bacon

Directions

  1. Add melted butter to stuffing mix, add egg and sausage and mix well. Chill about an hour for easier handling. Then shape into small oblongs about the size of pecans.

  2. Cut bacon around mixture and fasten with wooden pick. Place in a shallow pan, bake about 35 minutes at 350 degrees until brown and crisp,

  3. turning at halfway point in cooking.

  4. Drain on paper towels and serve h

  5. hot. May be made the day before baking. Also freezes well before baking.
