Baked Clams

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup beer
  • 24 clams on the half shell
  • 3 slices bacon, undercooked
  • 4 Tbsp. bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Combine first four ingredients. Slowly beat in beer. Put small amount of mixture on each clam.

  2. Cut bacon in small pieces and spread over clams, then sprinkle with bread crumbs.

  3. Arrange on baking pan and bake in 375 degreed oven for 10 minutes.
