Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp, salt
- 1 egg
- 1 (1 lb.) can fruit cocktail
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions

In a 6-cup baking dish combine sugar, flour, soda and salt; add egg, fruit cocktail with liquid, and vanilla. Mix well.

Combine brown sugar and nuts; sprinkle over the top.

Bake in a 325 degree oven for 45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
