Honey-Balsamic Steak

Ingredients

  • 4 top sirloin steaks, room temp
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar

Directions

  1. Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper.

  2. In a 12-inch cast-iron skillet, heat butter, oil, garlic and rosemary over medium-high heat. Add steaks; cook, turning once, until browned and cooked to desired doneness, about 6 minutes per side. Remove steaks from skillet. Let rest at room temp.

  3. Add honey and vinegar to skillet; cook, stirring frequently, until thickened, about 2 minutes. Return steaks to skillet before serving.
