baked teriyaki chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 table cornstarch
  • 1 table cold water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 tea ginger
  • 1/4 tea pepper
  • 12 skinless chicken thighs

Directions

  1. in small saucepan over low heat and mix starch, water, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger and pepper.

  2. let simmer stirring frequently til sauce is thick

  3. place chicken in light greased baking dish

  4. brush chicken with the sauce

  5. turn pieces over and brush again

  6. bake for 30 min. turn and bake another 30 min. til done.
