Spicy Lemonade with Jalapeño Ice Cubes

Ingredients

  • Jalapeño Ice Cubes:
  • 2 medium jalapeños, stemmed and sliced into 12 slices each
  • Lemonade:
  • 2 quarts lemonade, store-bought or homemade
  • 2 to 3 medium jalapeños, stemmed, seeded and sliced into 1/4-inch slices
  • 2 to 3 lemons, sliced into wheels

Directions

  1. For the jalapeñoice cubes: Place a jalapeño slice in each well of 2 ice cube trays. Fill with water and freeze until solid, about 4 hours.

  2. For the lemonade: In a beverage dispenser or pitcher, add the lemonade, jalapeño slices and lemon slices. Let sit, refrigerated, for at least 1 hour before serving.

  3. Serve in glasses filled with jalapeño ice cubes.
