Classic Karo Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. Karo light or dark corn syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • 1 unbaked (9") pastry shell

Directions

  1. In large bowl, stir eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans.
  2. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in 350 degree oven 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
  3. Cool. Makes 8 servings.
