Ginger Creams

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 2 cups plus 5 tbsp. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 4 tbsp. molasses
  • 2 tbsp. corn syrup (white)

Directions

  1. Cream shortening and sugar.
  2. Add egg. Beat.
  3. Add molasses and flour mixture.
  4. Roll into small balls. Roll in sugar.
  5. Put on slightly greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 325 for 12 mins.
