Spiced Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp cold water
  • 1 pound of Pecan Halves
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1/4 c salt
  • 1/2 to 3/4 ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 250 degrees

  2. Beat egg white slightly with hand beater, add water than beat until fluff but not stiff. Fold in pecans.

  3. In a small bowl combine the sugar, salt and cinnamon. Add to pecans and stir to combine.

  4. Butter a cookie sheet and spread pecans in a single layer. Bae for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. cool and package.

  5. Makes a great gift and stores well.

  6. I would store in freezer up to a year.
