green beans

Ingredients

  • canner-add 3 quarts water for water bath
  • cook beans in boiling water for about 8 or more Heat jars in water in prssure canner-jars upside down
  • heat bands
  • have teakettle filled with boiling water

Directions

  1. put beans in hot jars

  2. add hot water to about 1 inch from top

  3. add 1/2 t sea salt

  4. Put hot lids on tightly

  5. place in canner

  6. vent- without cock for 10 minutes of white steam

  7. Add cock and bring pressure to 11

  8. Cook 25 minutes at 11 pressure

  9. When done, leave cock on and allow to lose pressure for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

  10. Remove to rack

  11. put beans in hot jars
