This is a light dessert for summer and nice for picnics.
- cream of tartar
- fine sea salt
- superfine baker's sugar
- Zest of 1/2 large lemon

All you have to do to assemble this “layer cake” is whip some cream and slice some peaches, arrange them on pieces of store-bought pound cake, and then pop the whole thing in the freezer to set. Other fruits, such as strawberries, raspberries, blue berries, etc., can be substituted.

This is the best and easiest hot fudge I’ve ever made. You can have all the ingredients on hand to make this anytime. Great on profiteroles or just vanilla ice cream.
