Rice Krispy Treats

Serves 16 people

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 10 oz bag large marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • optional: 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium low when almost melted. Add marshmallows. Stir constantly until melted. Remove from heat and add vanilla and cinnamon if desired. Add cereal and stir gently until cereal is completely coated. Pour into a greased 13×9×2 inch pan. Using a strip of waxed paper that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, press evenly into pan. Allow to cool and cut into bars. Soak pan in cold water to clean.
