Cocoa Syrup

Good for pouring over ice cream or adding to milk for hot chocolate.

Ingredients
- 1 C cocoa
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- 1 C hot water
- dash salt
- 1 t vanilla
Directions

Mix sugar, salt and cocoa dry. Add sufficient water to make a paste, them remainder of water. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 3 minutes and add vanilla. Pour at once into jars. When cold, place in refrigerator. Makes 2 C syrup
