Green Apple Pie made with Tomatoes

Ingredients
- Pastry for 2-crust pie
- 4 cups peeled, thinly sliced green tomatoes
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 to 5 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions

Blend all ingredients except tomatoes in large bowl. Add tomatoes and toss to coat.

Place in pastry lined 9 inch pie pan. Adjust top crust, flute edges, cut vents.

Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 425F, until tomatoes are soft and crust is lightly brown.
