Lazagna

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1T. basil
  • 1 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 lb can of tomato sauce
  • 2 6oz cans of tomato paste
  • 10 oz of lazagna noodles
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups of ricotta cheese/cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. parmesan
  • 2 T. parsley flakes
  • 1t. salt
  • 1/2 t. pepper
  • 1lb mozarella cheese

Directions

  1. brown meat, take off fat

  2. add onion, garlic, basil, salt, tomato sauce, tomato paste.

  3. Simmer 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.

  4. Also can add couple drops tobasco, oregano.

  5. Cook noodles. Add salt after water boils. Rinse in cold water.

  6. Beat eggs and add remaining ingredients, except mozarella.

  7. layer in 13 × 9 pan. small amount of sauce, noodles, ricotta, moz, meat, repeat.

  8. cook for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
