Ingredients
- 4 lb cured corned beef brisket w/ spice packet, trimmed
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 8 large carrots, large chunks
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 garlic cloves, sliced
- 14 oz can beef broth
- 2 T dark brown sugar
- 1.5 T mustard
- 1 t caraway seeds
- 1 small cabbage, cut in 8 wedges
Directions

Place onion and carrot in large crockpot. Place beef on top, with bay leaves and garlic on top.

Combine spice packet w/ broth, sugar, mustard, and caraway seeds; pour over meat.

ok on high 1 hr, low 8 hrs. Add cabbage, cook on low 1.5 hours, until cabbage is tender.

Discard bay leaves and onion.

Cut meat across the grain.
