Steak and Blue Cheese Salad

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 lb. top round steak
  • 1 t freshly ground pepper
  • 1 16 ounce pkg. romaine lettuce hearts, coarsely chopped
  • 1 ripened avocado, cubed
  • 1 8 ounce package cherry tomatoes, halved, or grape tomatoes
  • 1/2 4 ounce package crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 8 ounce bottle vinaigrette salad dressing

Directions

  1. Drizzle Worcestershire sauce over steak; sprinkle with pepper.

  2. Place in a large resealable plastic bag and seal.

  3. Chill 2 hours.

  4. Grill, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat 10 to 12 minutes on each side or to desired degree of wellness.

  5. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.

  6. Cut steak into 1/4 inch thick slices.

  7. Arrange lettuce, avocado, and tomatoes on a platter.

  8. Arrange steak slices over vegetables.

  9. Serve salad topped with cheese and drizzled with vinaigrette.
