Red Beans and Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 cans red kidney beans
  • salt pork, ham hocks, or sausage cut into chunks
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup water
  • chopped onion

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients. Cook 1 hour on High and then 3 hours on low. Serve over rice.
