Whole Wheat Hot Cakes

Ingredients
- 1 C. wheat flour (may use part of white flour)
- 1 level t. baking powder
- 2 T. oil
- 2 T. sugar
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 scant C. milk
- 1 large egg beaten lightly
Directions

Sift dry ingredients. Combine milk and oil and add to dry ingredients. Then stir until moist but not too much. A cast iron skillet at medium heat is ideal. Use what you have.

Syrup: 1 c water. 1 c sugar, heat ti boiling and add some maple flavoring, about 2 t. approx.
