Five-minute prep lasagna

Vary by adding fresh or frozen peas, diced carrots, broccoli florets, or corn or cooked ground meat to the sauce.

- 1 jar (28-oz) marinara sauce
- 6 uncooked lasagna noodles
- 1 carton (15-oz) ricotta cheese
- 1-1/2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
- 2 tsp dried basil
- 1 cup (4-oz) shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 375F.

In a shallow 2-quart (7×11-inch) baking dish, spread 1 cup sauce. Top with 3 uncooked lasagna noodles.

Stir 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese and basil into ricotta. Season with salt and pepper. Spread over noodles.

Top with mozzarella, 1 cup sauce, remaining 3 uncooked lasagna noodles, and remaining sauce.

Cover with foil and bake for 50 minutes.

Uncover and sprinkle 3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese over the top. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes.

Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
