Green Beans with Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 3/4 lb. green beans
- 1 T olive oil
- 2 garlic, small cloves, chopped
- 2 t chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 t salt
- Tabasco, dash
- 1 c sliced mushrooms
- Dry white vermouth (optional)
Directions

Trim the ends of beans and place in a steamer over an inch of water. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until bright green and tender.

Place oil in pan. Saute oil, garlic, salt, & tabasco for minute or two. Add mushrooms and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 5 minutes, or until mushrooms just begin to release their liquid. Add dash of vermouth or wine if using.

Add beans and stir well.
