Beef Stew

Cook time: 300 minutes
Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds stew meat cut into 1 inch chunks
  • 1/3 cup flour and 1/4 cup flour, divided
  • 3/4 tsp salt-to taste
  • Garlic or garlic powder-to taste
  • 3-4 bay leaves
  • 1-1/4 tsp worchestershire sauce
  • 1-1/4 tsp paprika
  • onions
  • 2 cans beef broth
  • 2-3 potatoes, diced
  • 5 carrots, diced
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in crockpot, mix well. Cover and cook on Warm for 2 hours, then on low for 5 hours, Add 1/8-1/4 cup flour to hot broth (taken out). Mix well and add back to crockpot.
