Anna Potatoes

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 750-1000g potatoes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 50-75g butter

Directions

  1. butter tin generously

  2. slice potatoes in thin rounds and arrange neatly in circles to cover pan

  3. after 2 layers, season and add a few small pieces of butter

  4. continue to add layers, seasoning every 2nd layer

  5. spread remaining butter on foil and cover securely

  6. put oven proof plate on top of foil

  7. set pan on moderate heat 15 mins then put in oven 30 mins to complete cooking
