Classic Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Karo syrup (light or dark)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups pecans
  • 9 inches deep dish pie crust

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In large bowl stir first 5 ingredients until well blended.

  3. Stir in pecans.

  4. Pour into pie crust.

  5. Bake 50-55 minutes until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.

  6. Cool on wire rack
