Ingredients
- 4-5 lb. Boneless Chuck Roast
- 1/3 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- water
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup cold water
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 3 carrots peeled and sliced
Directions

Rub roast with flour on both sides. Brown in oil in saucepan. Place in slow cooker. (cutting to fit if necessary)

Add onion, celery and carrots around roast in crock pot.

Sprinkle dry soup mix over roast. Add water to cover roast and veggies.

Cover and cook on low 8 hours.

Stir flour in 1/3 cup cold water until smooth. Remove roast to serve platter and keep warm. Stir past into hot sauce and stir until dissolved. Cover and cook on High until sauce in thickened.
